STARTING POINT:
Teknisen Kaupan Maailma is a campaign website created for Teknisen Kaupan Liitto in collaboration with its member companies. The main goal of the site is to raise awareness about the diverse career opportunities in technical trade, particularly among high school students and career counselors. The design emphasized accessibility to serve as an engaging source of information, highlighting the versatility of the technical trade sector. The client desired interactive elements to the website, which would allow young people to learn about technical trade in a fast, fun, and engaging manner.
Solution:
The implementation of the campaign site began with thorough concept development and the design of its visual identity. The client was responsible for content production. In a kick-off event held in collaboration with the client, the key objectives and wishes for the site were defined. The site was built on WordPress using our own JCORE theme, creating a compact and informative overall experience. The interactive elements were implemented using our interactive image tool (a WordPress plugin) and a career choice test, enabling young people to learn about technical trade in an inspiring way. The career choice test was developed on our own jQuest gaming platform.
