Starting point:
GutGuide, a Finnish company offering microbiological analysis services, wanted to update and improve its existing web service. The goal was to create a modern and user-friendly platform that would enable easier and more reliable ordering of gut bacteria and microbiome analyses, as well as other gut health products.
Solution:
We designed and implemented GutGuide’s new online store using WordPress with WooCommerce. The updated web service includes clear product categories and comprehensive product descriptions, which facilitate customer navigation and decision-making. In the online store, customers can order analyses of the gut microbiome, such as the GutIndex®BENE analysis, and receive the results in their personal OMA GutGuide account. The sampling process has been made as simple as possible, and the analysis results are available within approximately two weeks. The new web service enhances the customer experience, increases GutGuide’s visibility, and makes the ordering of analysis services and review of results seamless.
